As well as hornets, yellowjackets, and their sting-y ilk.
If you have a wasp, hornet or yellow jacket nest in a wall void or in the ground – this is a problem you will definitely want to eliminate. Many wasp species are aggressive and inflict a painful sting, which they can deliver multiple times.
If the nest is on, the building, please provide information about access – how high is it, is it accessible via a 6′ ladder from your property, or from the inside of the building etc. We only carry a 6 foot ladder in our city-sized van, so it would need to be accessible using that.
We treat the nest, as much as we can with a material which spreads slowly to all the wasps, and kills them in about a week. Wasps do not have wet nests, like honey bees, so the nests do not need to be removed after the insects are dead, but we can if you request it.
A single treatment is required to eliminate them. Nest areas are not re-used, so there is no danger of getting another colony in the same location in subsequent years.
If it turns out to be honeybees instead of some type of wasp or bumblebees, we will refer you to a beekeeping service to come and retrieve them.
